The Straits Connect is the Indian Scholars’ Association’s flagship conclave—and the most significant gathering at the intersection of Singapore and India. Bringing together 400 of the region’s most influential minds, from business tycoons and corporate leaders to policymakers, academics, and startup entrepreneurs, it is a platform built for the conversations that actually move things forward.

Behind it is the Indian Scholars’ Association (ISA), a Singapore Registry of Societies (RoS) recognised, alumni-led community representing Indian graduates of Singapore’s leading universities—NUS, NTU, SMU, SIT, SUSS, and SUTD. Born from a shared experience of studying, building, and belonging in Singapore, ISA has grown into a network of leaders across industry, academia, public service, entrepreneurship, and social impact.

At its core, ISA believes that the most meaningful progress happens when the right people are connected—across borders, across generations, and across disciplines. The Straits Connect is that belief in action.
